What you will pay for
Mailpiece is free, and two things around it are yours to choose. Each bills you directly, and you pick both.
-
Your server
Mailpiece runs on a server you rent or own, from whichever host you like. Everything it keeps stays there. Install it.
-
Your mail provider
Your issues leave from the provider you choose, and it bills you for the mail you send. See how to connect yours.
Is it really free?
Yes. Mailpiece is free and open source under the MIT license. There is no hosted version and no plans, and nothing grows with your list: not readers, not posts, not sends.
What will I pay for?
Your own server, and the mail your provider sends for you. Both bill you directly, and you choose each one. Mailpiece itself never sends you a bill.
Why is it free?
Because a newsletter should belong to the person who writes it. We built Mailpiece to run our own, and it's better shared: run it, read the code, change it, and take your writing with you whenever you like.
Is anything held back for a paid plan?
No. There is one Mailpiece, with everything in it, the same on a list of ten and a list of a million.
Your newsletter, on your server, today
Install it, open it, and write your first issue. Connect your mail provider when you're ready to send.
Then hand it to your agent.
